It was there, he discovered his talent and passion for acting and went on to receive his BFA in Drama from the University of Oklahoma. While working as a Retail Sales Manager, Scotty also worked with an organization teaching acting, singing, and audition techniques to under-privileged children. In 2006 he moved to Athens and received his MFA in Drama Performance at University of Georgia in 2009. He fell in love with the town and people.
