It’s in the blood. As a third generation agent, Jennifer was bit by the real estate bug a little later in life than her mother and grandmother. While she didn’t enter real estate as a career until a little later in life, her obsession with finding and crafting the perfect home has always been deeply embedded– she considers herself a professional ‘nester’.

Jen moved to Atlanta as a child and grew up in Gwinnett County. After transferring from the College Of Charleston to UGA her junior year to major in Religion, she fell in love with all things Athens, and has made it her home since the early 90’s. Jennifer began her career as an ad rep for Flagpole Magazine and went on to start her own business in 2000 after the birth of her first daughter. With help from the Athens’ Small Business Development Center and business mentors around town, she propelled her baby bedding business to national and international acclaim and was featured in TIME Magazine and the Wall Street Journal as a leader in the budding “ mompreneur ” movement. She became a celebrity favorite and counted Jennifer Garner and Christian Bale as fans of her fleece crib sheets. She holds a patent of the safety design of the sheets.

After selling Fleece Baby in 2012, she worked for creative agencies until deciding to enter real estate in 2017. Jen has a developed deep connection in Athens. Her three children have all attended Clarke County Schools, where her husband has been a teacher for over 20+ years. She also served on the board for Lukas’ Fund, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the NICU’s in both Grady and Athens Piedmont Hospital. She currently mentors the business staff of the Odyssey Newsmagazine at Clarke Central High School, where her daughters attend. She lives in Normaltown.

Jennifer comes to 3tree because she believes in their process and is fueled by the experience and expertise of others in the 3tree group. Purchasing or selling a home is a very personal experience. Whether you are a first time home buyer looking for someone to help you navigate the process, or you have had a difficult time selling your property in the past, she is patient and willing to make your process her own. If you are looking for someone willing to take the time to put your needs first, please give her a call.
