About Jennifer Fleece

JenJen believes in magic. She believes if you know where to look for it, you will find it everywhere. It’s in Señor Sol’s green sauce, the sunset on Hawthorne Ave in midwinter, or a hike along Ben Burton Park when the river is high. It can always be found in Condor Chocolates.

 

A New Jersey native, Jen moved south while still in elementary school and graduated from Parkview High School in Gwinnett. After transferring from The College of Charleston to the University of Georgia to study Religion in 1992, she made Athens her forever home. Her family has since left for the Pacific Northwest coast but try as they might, they can’t sway her away from the town that holds her heart.

 

Prior to entering Real Estate, Jen worked in the creative industry for several years and also had a small business of her own. She holds a utility patent and was on The Small Business Board of Directors for the Juvenile Products Manufacturers’ Association. She’s been featured in TIME Magazine, The CBS Early Show, The Today Show, and countless national magazines and TV shows for her baby bedding products. Jen also served on The Lukas’ Fund Board, which supports the NICU’s at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta and Piedmont Athens Regional.

 

When not helping her clients find their own enchanting home, Jen can usually be found at her home in Normal town musing on short story ideas with her daughters, or hanging with her husband, Connell, (a 20-year veteran CCSD teacher whom she had the great fortune of meeting in the carpool line at her kids’ elementary school). They’ve raised their children here, built a life here, and will forever call Athens home. As with all things truly Athens, magic happens in the most unexpected places. Finding the perfect house can sometimes be a bit like pulling a rabbit out of a hat. Fortunately, Jen believes in magic.
