Lauren grew up on her parent’s cattle farm in the nearby, one-red-light town of Social Circle, GA. Like the clichéd small town girl in a country music song, Lauren had a burning desire to get out of that town. Contrary to that fact, she has also always been a bit pragmatic and loyal to the core. The compelling passion of the Bulldawg Nation (and the HOPE scholarship) led Lauren just under an hour away to the University of Georgia and Athens.
Lauren graduated from UGA with dual Bachelor’s degrees in both Public Relations and International Affairs and a certificate in Global Studies. Before starting her real estate career, Lauren worked as the Lead Paralegal and Office Manager for a local law firm on “good ole” Milledge Avenue. In her more than six years in that role, Lauren gained invaluable experience that carried over in the real estate business. The ability to productively multi-task, the significance of concise communication, and the importance of a strong attention to detail are all invaluable criteria for a successful Realtor. Most notably, Lauren learned the necessity of keeping the client’s best interest at the forefront, whether her clients need a savvy negotiator, a candid adviser, or a caring, determined advocate.
In addition to serving her own client’s buying and selling needs, Lauren works alongside Ceci on a daily basis as her “right hand.” She assists on Ceci’s transactions, works with Ceci to operate the company’s growing Property Management sector, and helps to manage the various day-to-day financial and administrative tasks. She isn’t 3tree Realty’s college intern; she isn’t Ceci’s daughter; and she isn’t a hair model (although Megan and Julie are certain she has the best hair of anyone they know). She is actually much older (and wiser, of course) than she may appear, and each member of 3tree Realty turns to her for collaboration and support.
While attending UGA and falling in love with the culture of the Classic City, Lauren met her husband Ross — an Athens native with family ties deeply embedded into the history of this town. It was no surprise when Lauren and Ross decided together to make Athens their permanent home and raise a family here. Lauren and Ross have two sons, Watson and Wildes. Lauren has four older brothers, and she fits the role of “Boy Mom” quite well. She doesn’t shy away from a good game of barefoot tag football in the front yard. Lauren has an adventurous and creative spirit and enjoys being outdoors, entertaining friends at her home and quality time with her family.
Lauren is passionate about meeting the needs of each client and providing excellent service to buyers and sellers in order to earn their trust, referrals, and repeat business. Contact Lauren for service beyond your expectations. Lauren is eager to share her love of all things Athens and real estate with you.
